Sitedrive (construction schedules)

Introduction

Sitedrive is a Finnish construction-management tool used widely on Finnish jobsites. Many of our construction-industry customers display Sitedrive's project schedule and progress views on jobsite InfoBox screens. The integration uses Sitedrive's public-share URL.

Step 1: Get the Sitedrive shareable URL

From Sitedrive:

• Open the project view you want to display (schedule, dashboard, progress, etc.).
• Find the Share or Embed option (varies by Sitedrive plan and view type).
• Make sure the link is set to public access (no login required).
• Copy the URL.

Step 2: Add the iFrame slide

In InfoBox:

• Open the jobsite screen or playlist.
• Click Add new and pick iFrame.
• Paste the Sitedrive URL.
• Set a refresh interval if the data changes throughout the day (e.g. 15 minutes for active progress views).
• Click Add and Publish.

Design tips

Sitedrive views vary in complexity:

• For high-detail Gantt charts, consider a portrait-oriented screen for more vertical space.
• If the view shows too much detail to read at a distance, ask Sitedrive support whether a simplified jobsite display mode is available.
• Refresh interval matters more for live progress views. Schedules that don't change in real time can refresh hourly.

Troubleshooting

If the Sitedrive slide doesn't display:

• Login wall: the share link wasn't configured as public. Re-share with public access enabled.
• Stale data: increase the slide's refresh interval.
• Layout issues: contact Sitedrive support for screen-display optimization help, or rotate the screen to portrait if the data is vertical.
