The welcome tour

What the short guided tour on your first sign-in covers, how to pick your language in it, and how to skip or see it again.

Introduction

The first time you open the Platform in a browser, a short tour points out the basics: a dark overlay with a spotlight on one item at a time and a card explaining it. It takes about half a minute and runs in three short stages.

What it covers

Three stages:

  • The basics: a welcome card where you pick your language (English, Suomi, Svenska), then All screens, Media library, and Playlists in the side menu. If you're on the screens list, the tour ends by opening a screen for you; otherwise it points at Help center and finishes.
  • The editor: the first time you open a screen, two steps show Add content to your screen and Publish your changes, with the reminder that edits stay as a draft until you press Publish.
  • Wrap-up: after the editor stage, a last card points at the Help center.

Next, skip, and language

On each card:

  • Next moves on; progress dots show where you are.
  • Skip tour (the X), the Esc key, or a click on the dark background closes the tour for good in this browser. Skipping a stage also skips the later ones.
  • The language pills on the welcome card switch the whole Platform to that language right away.

Seeing it again

The tour remembers, per browser, that you've seen it. There's no replay button: it appears again when you sign in from a different browser or device, or after clearing this site's data in your browser. Everything it shows is covered in Getting started and the rest of this help center.

Summary

A half-minute tour on first sign-in, in your language, skippable at any point. The help center covers everything it shows in more depth.
