Plans, licenses, and billing
How InfoBox plans work, how billing is handled, and where to manage your subscription.
Introduction
InfoBox is sold per-screen, billed annually. There are no monthly subscriptions. Hardware (the InfoBox Basic stick) is optional and one-time. This article covers how plans, licenses, and billing work, and where to manage them.
How the plan works
Pricing is volume-tiered:
- 1–9 screens: 9 €/kk/näyttö, billed annually.
- 10–50 screens: 7 €/kk/näyttö, billed annually.
- Hardware: InfoBox Basic stick at 59 €/kpl, one-time, optional. Only needed if your screen isn't already Android-compatible.
- InfoBox runs on any compatible Android device, so hardware is never required.

Two billing channels
How customers pay:
- Manual invoicing for organizations that prefer e-invoicing or PDF invoices. Annual invoice at the start of the contract period. No customer portal; questions go through kasper@infoboxi.com.
- Chargebee for organizations that pay by credit card. Chargebee is our subscription manager. It's not visible inside the InfoBox Platform itself, but Chargebee provides its own customer portal where you can update card details, see invoice history, and add or remove screen licenses.
Note
Chargebee is the third-party subscription manager we use for credit-card billing. The Chargebee portal URL is sent to credit-card customers in their welcome email. If you've lost it, email kasper@infoboxi.com to receive it again.
What's NOT visible inside the Platform
Set expectations:
- You don't see your monthly bill or invoice history inside InfoBox.
- There's no quota counter showing screens-used vs screens-allowed.
- There's no in-app upgrade flow. Adding screens means contacting us (invoice customers) or using the Chargebee portal (CC customers).
- There's no in-app churn / cancel button. Cancellations go through kasper@infoboxi.com.
Common questions
Quick answers:
- Can I switch from invoicing to credit card? Yes, contact us at kasper@infoboxi.com to migrate.
- Do I need hardware? No. InfoBox runs on any compatible Android device. The InfoBox Basic stick is only useful if your screens aren't already Android-compatible.
- Is there a monthly plan? No. Pricing is monthly-equivalent for clarity (9 €/kk/näyttö) but billing is annual.
- What happens if I add a screen mid-year? For invoice customers, we pro-rate. For credit-card customers, Chargebee pro-rates automatically.
